I used to think that selfies were egotistical, until I read a tweet from @JomnySun on Twitter which read:

"How come we never see 'Is Selfie Culture Helping Our Kids Explore Their Own Identities, Find Comfort in Themselves?'" This Tweet was commenting on an article from the New York Times which read, "Is Selfie Culture Making Our Kids Selfish?"

Despite the fact that I had questioned this before, I just couldn't get past the narcissism that comes about when I think of taking a selfie. To my surprise, Melissa felt the same way before as I had.

Listen in this week as Melissa and I take time to really understand what our generation of people have to gain through taking these mobile self-portraits. It's a lot more complex than I realized, and as always, we discovered you can't paint every portrait with a broad brush.

Send us an email via our Contact Us page. We'd love to hear your fresh perspective.

Enjoy the show!
